A Few Words About My Passion and Journey
“My passion for wine began very early, through wines from around the world shared with my father and my family. From childhood through adolescence, the complexity of wine — the intimate connection between people, countries, climates, terroirs, and time — naturally drew me toward Burgundy. It felt like an obvious path.”
When Passion Becomes a Philosophy
Although I was originally trained in economics and finance and began my career in the banking sector in the United States, I quickly realized my path lay elsewhere. Turning wine into both a passion and a profession gradually became my true philosophy of life.
In 2011, driven by this dream, I decided to enter the world of wine and the intimate circle of Burgundy’s domaines. I pursued a Master’s degree in International Development at ESC Dijon, convinced that a French diploma would naturally open the doors to Burgundy.
But Burgundy doesn’t work that way.
Here, respect is earned slowly — vine by vine, vintage after vintage.

I began my journey behind the scenes, working in wine logistics and export. This immersion allowed me to understand the inner workings of the industry while building lasting relationships with small, family-owned estates.
Through these experiences, my passion for older Burgundy vintages deepened — a passion nourished by the stories of winemakers, by the passing of time, and by years of expertise gained within one of the region’s most prestigious private wine clubs.
